It seems that I am showing swings of great players but I thought I would blog a sequence of my swing !! This swing is so average that it turned me from a golfer to a coach.

Happy Chinese New Year to all my friends in both Asia and the Western world. The whole event really is cool and something I would suggest for everyone to experience. Last night there were so many fireworks I thought we were getting attacked. Here is some of the cool media that is floating around the net in China.

Just back In China and suffering from major jet lag. I was only gone to UK for 5 days and Li Hao Tong made history. To win such an important tournament as the Dubai Desert classic is amazing but to do this playing the RORY on Sunday was awesome. Hopefully this will give him the confidence to bigger and greater achievements. Hopefully this win will encourage other Chinese players to follow him along the road of professional golf.

Also huge congratulations in order for Li’s coach Jamie Gough from South Africa who has really made a huge difference with Li’s progression in last few years.

As can be seen from the top of backswing Li’s left wrist is a little bowed similar to Dustin Johnson and John Rahm

Seve Ballesteros inspired a generation of European golfers. Se Ri Pak did the same in South Korea hopefully Li Hao Tong can do the same to Chinese golf.

4.30am China time Wednesday morning. Just getting ready to take a 2 hours flight from Wuhan to Beijing, followed by an 11 hour flight to London, followed by 6 hour car drive to my home in Aberystwyth with an ETA of around 11.00pm UK time Wednesday night. About a 28 hour day if all things run smoothly !!! Wish I was teaching golf today !!

Happy New Year everyone!!!!!!!

It was a beautiful 22 degree day here in Dongguan and perfect for teaching!!!

The next 2 weeks is gonna be crazy for me. A trip to Wuhan and then back to UK to see my Dad for five days who has been very poorly of late. Then back to Wuhan for a few more teaching days before returning to Mission Hills and more lessons !!!

As the year progresses I will post more golf related info here for golfers of all abilities.
